WSA-GA 2009 Announcement

The GA is scheduled for September 26th in Oberwiesenthal Germany, where the World Championship 2010 in February 26th to 28th will be held.

The following drivers have been reinstated as eligible for participation in WSA events, after completion in March 2009 of their respective periods in ineligibility for adverse analytical findings in doping controls carried out on dogs in their teams:

earthquake fund information for italy

FIMSS, the Italian Federation of Sleddog Sports, has set up a solidarity fund to collect donations to assist the people living in the region of L’Aquila, (Abruzzi Mountains) which was struck by a severe earthquake on Monday, April 6th. Thousands of families lost their homes and over 300 were killed in the quake, while aftershocks continue to make it impossible for people to regain their houses safely.
Those wishing to contribute to this fund will find the banking information in the email below from Massimo Bassan, FIMSS President, as well as a link to a special online donation page via PayPal.

The F.I.M.S.S. - Federazione Italiana Musher Sleddog Sport opened an subscription in order to help some our musher that suffer the terrible experience of the earthquake arrived in L’Aquila, where they live.
Fabrizio Filoni, Olivia Piacentini and Giulia Rossetto stay well but they are without job and the house cannot be used.
